Hi! We are migrating our SRM-MDM catalog to a different platform and database and when we tried to unarchive the database, it outputs an error 'Archive has too many languages (23) for DBMS platform limit of (17) for target repository : .....'
Has anyone encountered such error before? I am wondering whether I can delete the languages under the Repository Details section in MDM Console?
Any enlightenment on this would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
You might be migrating to IBM DB2 database, We had face the same problem and yes you can remove the unwanted languages from the repository. Unload the repository, click on MDM Server, select the repository from the right pane, go to languages and remove the languages you want.
Load the repository with update indices. This should solve your problem.

Hi,
Check the SAP Note 1143932
Would be useful to you if you want to use all the languages in SRM-MDM repository and the platform is IBM DB2.
