Cost Center Missing in Sales Order

Hi, I am newbie trying to enter a service order and I keep getting a missing cost center message. I expect a field in Account Assignment in item but I don't see cost center field at all? Is the cost center automatically determined somewhere? Also don't see any entries in the Cost Center Determination table in our SAP instance so how is this being set elsewhere for orders where I do see cost center?

You can add cost center in SO . Check the header or item .

The cost center is determined by the profit center in the sales order. input a relevant profit center in the service material and then the error should be resolved
