Hi Balu
the error screen is from your BI system? If yes, then why the source system is showing to be of type BI? For ECC it should be of type r/3.
You can try to delete already created RFC from both your BI and ECC system and try to create source system connection from your BI end from RSA1>> Source System> right click..Create..
Choose "Automatically Create SAP system" . Enter the required credential then click on "Replicate as well"
If you do not want to delete any RFC for any reason please upload entries from RSBASIDOC, RSLOGSYST table.
Do not play around with SM59... do this instead:
in your BW system, go into RSA1.
Click on Source systems.
right-click on SAP (on the right-pane)
choose Create
follow prompts from that point on.

Hi,
Thanks Eric and Subash for your kind guidance in resolving my problem(How to create RFC Destination Between ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0).
Could you please provide me in-depth information regarding the same.
I am able to create RFC b/w ECC and BI, i can login into ECC remotely through BI,even test connection is also perfect but my problem is when i am trying to execute T90CLNT090(check) of source system,RSA1 in ECC it is showing an error .
I will be very thankful to you if you can provide any document which can help me in resolving this problem.
Thanking you,
Regards,
BALU.
You can create a RFC destination in SM59 in ECC system type T and enter the information of your BI system IP address system number and save the connection and test the connetcion

Subhash
