Make line invisible in Smartforms

Hi all,

how to make a line invisible in Smartforms?

I tried to paint the text white. Its not shown in the preview, but when I print the page, the line appears.

Hi,

Give a paragraph format with white color to that required text element.

If you are defining the line in a single text then give some condition which is wrong (for Ex : 1 = 2 ) in the conditions tab of the text so that it will not be printed.

Or else if you have defined the line inside a template then proceed as given in the above manner.

Hi,

Is it text line?

If yes then just go into text editor and comment that line.

i.e. for that line in tag column ( left most ) give format as ' /* ' ( press F4 and select ).

Hi...

in Smartforms for all nodes which are used to display anything in layout, u ahev an option of selecting shading. use that opion and play according to ur requirement.

Hi,

If the line is regarding the Template the u can go to the button Draw line and Colums button u get the 4 directional arrows select the line which u dont want to be displayed go to the button outer frame/ upper frame/ Lower Frame select it so that it will not get displayed in the Print output.
