Hi Gurus,
can SCM and SNC have mutiple clients. We need to create a client for training and was wondering if it would give the users the exact functionality.
Regards!
Hi Gaurav,
If you don't use the BW technology embedded in SAP APO (DP, SNP etc.) - only PP/DS for example, then your system is multiclient compliant . If you do - there are some restrictions. For more info please refer to [SAP APO & SAP SCM MulticlientCapabilities|service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700000580082007E]

hi!! gaurav
Yes you can have multiple client concept as you have in R/3.
The only thing is that you should be using SCM 5.0 or higher.
this is because APO has an inbuilt BW component which in earlier version till BW 3.5 was not compatible to multiple Client concept , but in BW7.0 it can also work with multiple client which comes with SAP SCM 5.0 or higher. and this will hold the same for SNC also
Hope this answers your question

Hi Gaurav,
As far as SCM is concerned, one can have more than one client. But for SNC, I am not sure. [But I believe logically it could be because SNC is one of the component in SCM]
