Problem in creating a new DC

Hi All,

I have JDI installed, I imported the configuration in my NDS. Now when i 'm trying to create a new DC -

My Vendor name is excelcom.com,

and when i try creating a new DC its saying :

syntax of "excelcom.com/test is not valid: Invalid Name ;on this server no names of category SAP_DevelopmentComponentName are not allowed at all.

what does this means? Any Solution Pls.

Hi,

Verify that weather you have configured name server properly or not.

After SLD is installed of you have to configure a Name server.

If not go to SLD and then Register your SLD server as name server.

If you have configured name server then make sure that you have configure a namespace prefix for DC.

Hello,

It seems that you have defined a Name Server and have defined a namespace prefix for DC names. This is preventing you from creating a DC.

Just check the list of Namespace Prefixes that you might have defined.
