Benchmark SAP transaction calls

Hi,

I need to run standard transaction i.e. FB60 calls concurrently on 100 users for performance tests. I prepared eCATT for that but couldn't find any way to simulate it to run o 100 dialog users concurrently. Is there any way to perform such tests not being SAP Global Technology Partner?

Any ideas???

Hi,

SAP uses for load testing the HP Load Runner tool.

It is not recommended to trigger load test (simulation of concurrent users) from the ABAP server itself via report. If you do so, you are wasting ABAP server capacity for producing the load itself. Besides the communication layers to ABAP are not used, which would be the case with real users.

For this reason - use any expernal tool, ideally the Load Runner, (pay the license), or in worst case use just a remote (different) ABAP system to trigger the load.
