who mainatined the entries in sap table

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how do I find which user mainatined the entries in table B006 or any sap table.

Also how will I know who has authorization to maintain the entries.

hi

first go to SE16n and enter the table name as CDPOS and in the selection screen enter the table name as B006 and execute now you will get the following

change doc object

object value

document number

make a note of the above and now goto se16n and enter the table name as cdhdr and enter the above values which you got in CDPOS

like change doc object or object value and execute now you will get the user name who had maintained or changed the entries for that table

Pls check in the following tables:

SE16n_cd_key and se16n_cd_data

You can find the required info. in the above mentioned tables.

For authorisation checking just ask your BASIS people.

these tables does not display data for any of the sap tables I tried.

Hi Arnima,

Have you checked,

Could you pls tell where you feel difficulty.

It is working for most of the tables.

If not use CDPOS and CDHDR.Here you have to enter the Table name in Tabname field.Fetch the Changenr and then pass the same to CDHDR to know the Username and time when the changes are made.

I am sorry Arnima,by looking into another question which is asked at the same time,I mistakenly typed the name as sameer who is the author of another question.
