Dear Friends,

I need to deactivate change pointer for message type CREMAS, but i do not want to use BD61 because it will deactivate for all the message types.

Pl. advise.

Hello Jurgen,

Thanks for your input.

I noticed this meantime, but still after we un check the active box in this step the communication IDOC's will still get generated.

Is there a possibility to stop creating IDOC's completely, because i do not want to distribute these IDOC's to the legacy system, so stopping creation of IDOC's will avoid housekeeping work (deletion of IDOC's once they are created later to mass changes).

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

BR,

RK

Ravi,

You can remove the message types forspecific partners in transaction WE20.

Hope it helps!

A change in master data will create change pointers.

Change pointers are collected in a table BDCPV

Program RBDMIDOC will create IDOCs from the entries in BDCPV

the entries in BDCPV will then get an indicator that the IDOC is created

Reorganize your unwanted change pointers in table BDCPV with program RBDCPCLR

I cannot believe that you still get new change pointers after you have deactivated their creation for the message type.

Do a test, make sure the change pointer creation is deactivated for CREMAS, then change a vendor master, then check in table BDCPV whether you got new entries after a certain CRETIME
