cProject +material+cost planning

Hi

I able to create a project strucutre in cproject. How can I assign material or/ and can able to cost planning. I am new to cproject and seek quick guidelines.

Hi Zinni,

You can not assign material to cProjects elements rather you can go to "Control Plan" tab in cProjects and assign your Control Plan R/3 material there. Control Plan is getting integrated with SAP QM.

For accounting related options and funcitonalities go to "Accounting" tab page and explore it, you will find the accounting services for the particular Project.

Hi,

The costing in cProjects happens in the following ways:

1) For the costing, cProjects has to be integrated with SAP ECC. The cost can be accumulated at either internal order or PS WBS elements. cproject elements need to be linked to Internal Order(Single Level Controlling) or WBS elements(Multilevel Controlling) for costing purpose.

1) Regarding resource costing, we define cost revenue rates in cProject which get replicated to SAP ECC with which the resource costing happens in SAP ECC.

3) For travel and maetrial costing, we can use Easy Cost Planning. And the materials can be procured against the WBS elements.

We cannot assgn material and do cost planning in C proejct.
