to exclude a academic work in degree audit process?

Hello ALL.

here's a academic work to exclude.

Lets' call this AW as "Abandoned Math 101".

PLAN 1.

I can exclude this in progression process

by set the "Exclusion"(PIQAW_ACWORKT-ANNULMENT).

---------------------------- help doc ----------------------------
Exclusion Indicator for Module Bookings
Indicates that the module booking record is excluded from processing.
------------------------------------------------------------------

no effect in degree audit process!

PLAN 2.

How about "Not Relevant"(PIQAW_ACWORKT-AGRNOTRATED) ?

---------------------------- help doc ----------------------------
Appraisal Grade Not Relevant
If you set this indicator for a grade, this grade is excluded from subsequent Campus Management processes.
------------------------------------------------------------------

no effect in degree audit process!

PLAN 3.

I tried change "Academic Work Status"(PIQAW_ACWORKT-AWSTATUS) to 3 (Failed).

----------------------------- error ------------------------------
Grade C is not allowed for status 03
------------------------------------------------------------------

Can't save changed data.

Do you have any idea?

regards,

DB Lim.

As long as you are at least on EHP3, you have the following IMG option available:

SLCM -> Master Data in SLCM -> Performance Indexes -> Activate Filter for Performance Indexes.

Here, set the value of 'FILTNOTRAT' to 'X'. This will automatically remove all appraisals from performance index calculations where the 'not relevant' flag is checked.

Hello DB,

You can implement a filter BAdI to exclude bookings which have various status indicators. IMG: SLCM -> Processes -> Audits -> Requirements -> Subrequirements -> BAdIs.

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve, but you can also configure Degree Audit to exclude bookings based on their booking status for a given audit execution mode. See IMG: SLCM -> Processes -> Audits -> Define Booking Statuses Relevant for Execution Modes. This does not require a BAdI implementation and might achieve what you want.

Eric, thanks for your reply.

I have set the IMG Define Booking Statuses Relevant for Execution Modes to filter booking status 02(success) - it means excluding 03(fail). And then I tried to change booking status of the AW for exclude from 02 to 03. But can't save changed data. It was my PLAN 3 (see the original post) .

The change of a booking status is very restricted.

The subrequirement filter BAdI. It matches my needs.

But, The coverage of this filter is for a single subrequirement - so small area.

I want to apply this filter to the whole system area.

I have to add this filter to all subrequirements.

This is annoying job in current and after.

I think ... there's no IMG or BAdI that filter to the whole system area.

hi Michael.

I'm on 6.0 (no enhancement packs).

Anyways,

PI filter works at performance index calculation.

It can't filter out in Modules Used of Audit Details.

Therefore, AWs that 'not relevant' flag is checked is shown in Modules Used of Audit Details but excluded in PI. It can lead confusion.
