Budget Check while transferrinf a Simulation Version to Operative..

Hi All,

I am using PS - Simulation and Budget Control Functionality...wherein based on planned cost of the project, Budget is allocated 100%, so when i start my project my planned cost = budget.My budget control is set for 100% Error.During the execution my material price increase,so the plan cost has to be revised,but it shud go for approval before changing in the operative project which is mapped thru simulations.Now I face a problem while transferring this approved simulation version to operative version,

In simulation version my planned cost is more than the budget of the operative version,but still system permits me to transfer to operative.and the budget exceed error is coming only at the time of posting actuals.

Hi,

System will not restrict while transferring from simulation version to operative project, even your plan costs in simulation version are more than budget.

In this case you have to increase the budget in operative project based on the plan values of simulation version.
