If you are asking about the Documentaion for the File to IDoc then

well, Documentation generally is what u Document .but to be clear i think you are asking about how to Document . i suggest there are many sample doc ie Example's of many interfaces which u can follow in SDN . .........hope u might have got some IDea about this .........

IF not then pls be clear like u are asking about how to Configure or Document.?

what you refer when you say documentation in XI...

Is it that you want to create a document corresposding to your development...if yes then:

1) it is a functional + technical document that you need to design

2) it should have functional details about the scenario....which should answer...what is the need of the scenario

3) technical details include details regarding all the objects that you create in IR and ID for the scenario
