About the STM tool~

Dear Sir:

I sent a question to SAP as follow~:

I download the SAP Tools for MS SQL Server STM but can't start.

I restore the MS SQL 2005 DB from R/3 4.7 x110 32 bit windows source

system to R/3 4.7 x110 64 bit target system.

And I followed the 683447 note and 551915 note and 151603 note tried to

migrate DB from source DB to target DB.

but I can't start the STM it just stop and tell me to contact to the

support team.

Please tell me what's wrong.

my OS is Windows 2003 64 bit NT R2 64bit.

MSSQL 2005

R/3 4.7 x110

Please set up the WTS connection according to the attached SAP note

"605795". And to open the service connection, please refer to the

documents available at the following URL.

http://service.sap.com/access-support -> 'Connect to SAP'

Actually I don't know how to set up WTS connection & what's the essential for doing it.

I only wanna solve my problem about STM tool and finish DB migration.

Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Or any knows how to solve my problem?

I followed the note 605795 and added a new MIS in System Data,but I can't set up the windows terminal server.

Here is my saprouttab,is anything wrong with that?

What should I do next?

Hi,

According to Note:605795

It is mentioned Sap router to be installed.

For setting up the connection to SAP:

Choose a connection type and apply for your connection.

Provide SAP with the data it needs to set up the connection between your SAProuter system and the SAP support server using the Remote Connection Data Sheet (SAP Note 0028976).

Configure your network components (SAProuter).

Once a remote connection is established, enter the required logical connections between your R/3 systems and SAP. You will find a description of this procedure in SAP Note 31515.

Also you can refer to https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/saprouter.This will give you alll the info. you want about SAP router

then follow as per Note:605795 for WTS connection
