ES20 is used to create contracts but you cannot use it to link to an installation, nor you can use this contract for billing (automatica and manual).

Contracts created with ES20 are used only to post FICA items.

Hi Varadha,

The correct process for creating a contract is to create a Move In Document (EC50E) first and it will create a Contract automatically.

Business Agreement will be replicated as Contract Account in IS-U.

CAA1 is the t-code to create a contract account.

Hi,

You need to follow these steps to create a contract:

1).Create the Business master data i.e. Business Partner(FPP1) & Contract Account(CAA1) linked to BP.

2). Create Technical Master Data i.e. Connection Object(ES55).

3). Create Premise(ES60) linking the above created Connection object to it.

4). Create Installation(ES60) linking the above created Premise to it.

5) Do the Move-In(EC50E), CONTRACT WOULD BE CREATED AT THE TIME OF MOVE-IN AUTOMATICALLY.

Thanks,

Abhishek
