EHP1 for Nw 7.0

Hi people,

What is the minimum level to make the EHPI installation por netweaver 7.0?? I have to install patches which release is 7.01???

Hi,

Please find below the answer to your question:

1) You need solution manager at patch level 15.0

2) To apply EHP1 on SAP netweaver 7.0 then there is no minimum patch level requirement. You just need to select your source stack and target stack then it will give you all patch. And when you will apply patched via SAPehpi tool then it will do it by itself.

But please take care, if you are updating SPAM/SAINT to patch level more than 32 then you will not be able to apply these patches via SPAM/SAINT then you have to used SAPehpi tool only.

And don't forget to apply SAP note 1086728 before EHPI installation. And remainging intructions, you can get from installation manual.

Then I´ll have to update the solution manager at stack 15 minimum or only the add on SAP Solution Manager Tool?? I´m in the 13 level stack, and when i select the target stack (ehp1), show me the diferents patches to install. Is insufficient????

You will have to :

1. SPAM/SAINT update to version 35

2. Update Solution Manager to SP15

3. Update ST-ICO to 15

4. Also update JAVA components to SP15

Then only you will be able to apply EHP1 for solution manager 7.0

I don´t want to install the EHPI for solution manager. I want to install EHPI for NetWeaver 7.0 with (BIW) + Enterprise Portal. To validate the patches or select all the necessary need to have the solution manager at least 15?

That question was already answered by Matt a few lines above,

The EhP installer (EhPI) will check the SP level equivalence in your system. Please see Notes 1175848 and 1248905.

What do you mean... 7.01 is 700 with EHP1, isn't that what you're looking for?

At least for solution Manager minimun is Stack 16 if I remember correctly... and its on the installation Guide.
