Hi

If requirement type is not copied into sales order then check the Avalability check configuration and the MMR data you have maintained

Could you be a bit more specific? what settings i need to check? i have noticed that this happens only for few sales orders and not for all.

Hi

Check the following data in MMR , Check what availability check , strategy group you have maintained, in MMR. Secondly it is happening only for few sales orders then check what where the materials you have entered in those sales orders where the requirement type is coming and also check what is the material you have entered in the sales order where the requirement type is not coming. Also check the item categories of those sales orders

Hi

In t code OVZI requirement types are assigned to item category and MRP types and there is a field called origin of Requirement type in sales transactions

This t code you need to check

For certain orders only you are having this problem

Those materials item categories and MRP types needs to be checked

The settings in OVZI are correctly maintained.

However, i could not locate the "origin of Requirement type" field in sales transactions. Could you advice?
