Hello,

In BW I can display data in any format.

If I have 100 000 I can tune it to show data in 1000, so I'll see 100 in report.

But if I apply this settings to BW query and build universe on it, I couldn't see data 100, I see in webi 100,000.

Why? How apply show in 1000 in BO?

Hi,

format information is not automatically leveraged when you create a universe based on a BW query. You have to format the numbers yourself in your WebI report.

I open Format number, but I can't find display in thousand.

you have also to do the division with 1000 manually. Which version of BOBJ software are you using?

I'm not clear understand. I need to develop query in BO, which will show data for user in thousands.

I'm using XI 3.1

Hi Roman,

you could create a Formular with the Variable Editor. That would look something like "[your_object]\1000"

Or right click on your Object and than Edit Format. If you format isn`t there use a custome one (on the bottom of the format editor)
