Go to VOV6, select your schedule line category and execute. There you can see the movement types assigned. If you want to change, dont change in standard; instead copy the same, rename it and make changes.
Movement type triggering from schedule linecategory in VOV6 is for SD sales order only and STO is purchase order ( either it is inter company or intracompany ) and the movement type is not coming from schedule linecategory
It is there internally assigned somewhere

Movement types can be seen at the schedulelines level. Check your delivary item categories and MRP controllers, bases on these two Scheduleline is going to determined.
