QM_MATERIAL DELETION FROM INSPECTION PLAN

QM Experts,

Is there any transaction code by which we can delete the selected materials from the task list of type Q?

For example in a task list group XYX with group counter 1, there are 1000 materials assigned. Now I want to delete say 400 out of it.

Whether QSR6 will serve the purpose? How? what precautions need to be taken while executing QSR6?

Hi

You can use workbench transaction CWBQM.

This would list all the materials and you can select and delete those material..which would be faster than doing material de-assignment through QP02.

Hi,

QSR6 will serve the purpose only if that task list the Task list is not used in inspection lots.You may have to take this caution.

Hi Anand,

Do you want to delete it w/o keeping a track of it in any table you can use this transaction.It will delete it from the table level itself.

If you are Okay to keep a track of it in table ( Del. Id - X), you can go for a LSMW program to do so.

Please clarify how do you want to do it ?
