Allocation Table Delivery

Former Member

Hi

I have set up an allocation table type which generates a PO to the vendor for delivery at the Warehouse and STO´s on the Warehouse by the various Stores. These documents are generated without any problem but when I try to create an Outbound Delivery for the STO´s using transaction VL10B, they do not appear.

I understand that it is not possible to generate a STO and a delivery from the same delivery line in the Allocation Table, but certainly it should be possible to create Outbound Deliveries using the STO´s that resulted from the Allocation Table? How else are we supposed to pick and deliver the goods to the stores?

thanks

Dear Herman,

This is probably due to incorrect customizing settings.

Please check your customizing for the used allocation table item

category which is category 'C' for the field 'distribution data'

(T621-ASNRM).

Logistics - General -> Merchandise Distribution -> Allocation ->

Item Categories of Allocation Table

In order to be able to use VL10B for delivery creation for your

UB's from allocation, you will have to customize your allocation item

category NOT to create (merchandise) distribution data! Thus, EKPO-NOVET

will not be set, delivery creation date (EKPV-LEDAT) will be calculated

and you should be able to create the deliveries to the respective UB's

via VL10B!

So please set this field to '2' Do not create distribution data and

retest the system behaviour.

Kind regards,

Lorraine

Thanks a mill Lorraine.

I must have looked at (and overlooked) that setting a thousand times. I didnt realise it was an either-or. I sort of liked that with WF30 you could review the PO´s and how they link to the STO´s but didnt realise that this feature cancelled out the ability to create deliveries from the STO´s.

Now for the next challenge; I need to stick a K in the Account Assignment field for the STO´s that are generated (they are for articles that are consumed at store level but stocked at the DC)

Do you know anyway that I can control this from the Allocation Table, or should I be looking at a BADI to do this?

thanks again

Hi Herman,

Glad to help with the previous issue

Now with regards to your second issue, I'm afraid this is not possile. Allocation cannot generate purchase orders with account assignment in standard.

When creating a PO for an non-valuated article, the system requires you

to enter an account assignment and depending on the customizing of this

assignment, the PO requires other information like accounts etc.

As there is no possibility to enter such data in allocation, allocation

cannot pass this information to the PO.

I hope this answers your query.

Kind regards,

Lorraine
