HI GURUS,

I i have 2 keyfigures in my report.

1 is actual & another is plan say 1.plan 2.actual.

in the 3rd column(STATUS) user want to see

if actual value is >(greater than) plan value status field should show 'achieved'.;if 0.975 plan <(less than)actuals< plan then "on target'.it should show like this.

i am giving u an example with how it should show the output.

KF1(ACTUAL) KF2(PLAN) STATUS

200 150 ACHEIVED

300 275 ON TARGET

150 160 ALMOST ON TARGET

THIS HOW IT SHOULD SHOW.

WE CAN'T WRITE ANY ROUTINE BECOZ THERE R NO UPDATE RULES.

ITS A TRANSACTION CUBE.

IN REPORT ONLY WE SHOULD GENERATE IT.

Hi

This is more likely to a calculated KF.

You can create a new Calculated KF that will calculate the difference between Planned & Actual, then you asign a Static value to the result (1 = Met Plan, 2 = did not etc).

Next step you can assign a text to this value using Replacment Path Var.

I think you need a virtual characteristic for that.
