Wage type permissibility of PS and ESG

Hi All,

While going into detail of any wage type no. 0-9 in PS and ESG signifies what? and how it is related to wage type permissibility to ESG and wage type permissibility to ps?

would appreciate your help for the same..

An employee subgroup grouping for primary wage types is a grouping of employee subgroups with the same primary wages types. This allows you to restrict specific wage types to certain employee groups and subgroups.

Define the same in V_503_G

The personnel subarea grouping for primary wage types and standard wage maintenance is a division of personnel subareas for which the same primary wage types are permitted. You can restrict the personnel subarea grouping for primary wage types and standard wage maintenance to include particular personnel subareas only.

Define the same in V_001P_K

Define Wage Type Permissibility for each PS and ESG :-

This helps you to define the permissibility of wage type to be used in Personnel sub area and employee sub groups.......that is you can restrict particular wage types to certain personnel subareas or certain employee subgroups only

A. Permissibility of EE subgroup grouping for primary wage type

Determining the authorization of a wage type for certain employee subgroup groupings for premium wage types.

Permissible values:

blank: Wage type for employee subgroup grouping not allowed

1: Wage type for employee subgroup grouping allowed

2: Wage type for employee subgroup grouping allowed with a warning

Possible use:

Limited authorization of wage types only for industrial workers or salaried employees.

example: if your empl sub group differentiate "STAFF" vs. "NON STAFF"

and as STAFF will have permanent allowances --> then STAFF will have certain Primary WT

B. Permissibility of personnel subarea for primary wage type

This is to determine the permissibility of a wage type for certain personnel subgroup groupings for premium wage types.

Permissible values:

Blank: wage type inpermissible for personnel subgroup grouping

1: wage type permissible for personnel subgroup grouping

2: wage type permissible for personnel subgrop grouping with warning

example: if your personnel sub area defines SALES vs ADMIN or SHIFT vs NON SHIFT

SALES will have certain component of remuneration (certain Wagetype) such as SALES INCENTIVE that ADMIN person will not have..SALES have certain primary wagetypes.

but my main question is what does0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 in ESG and PS implies, on what criteria we define its permissibility..

Hi

Permissability means user access the wage types to input dara/modify data.

You can select any one of the number inbetween 0-9 either ESG or PSG

Further to the explanation provided above by the experts,

Define the same in V_001P_K

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 is the maximum Employee sub group grouping and Maximum Personnel Sub area grouping that can be maintained......in the mentioned tables...i.e V_503_G , V_001P_K

Refer the tables i have mentioned abvove where you are mapping different employee sub group in to similar grouping.....suppose you have ESG a, b,c.......you can groupt he 3 ESGs in Employee Sub group Grouping 1 since these employee sub groups are going to use same wage types......

Same explanation goes for PSA Grouping......

Hi Shweta,

This for permitting your WT for the ESG and PSA. Look into table V_511_B

Wage type permissibility is more or less a part of wage type tool for configuring wage types.

Here 0 to 9 are grouping for ESG and the next side 0 to 9 are grouping for PSA, which you have defined in the earlier step (grouping of ESG to WT and grouping of PSA for WT .)

The values 1 is permissible and 0 means not permissible.

Hi,

Employee sub grouping and parsonnel subarea grouping for wage type permissibility ( wage type permissibility means allocate the wage type certain employee grouping not for all as per the requirement, same as a personnel subarea, ) SAP provide a country version wage type and special wage type which can be maintain as per the business scenario.

This grouping can be seen in pa scale structure,

You need to group EE Subgroups in table V_503_G those are eligible for the same benefits and assign Each Group in wage type with values 1 is permissible and 0 not permissible in Define permissibility for each wage type for PSA grouping and EEsubgroup grouping.
