auto matic confirmation for milestone

Hi Experts,

can anybody tell me the standard t-code or program for confirming milestones rathe than putting the dates manually in the milestone which is attached to a WBS element.

Hi,

Ind: Set milestone dates automatically:

With this indicator you specify that the actual dates from the confirmation are automatically transferred to the actual dates of the milestones.

Example:

An operation has milestones for a degree of processing of 50% or 75%. If you confirm a degree of processing of 60% then the actual date from the confirmation is transferred as the actual date for the first milestone.

Enter OPST transaction for Conformation Parameters.

In Default Values subscreen

Propose dates & Milestone automatic check boxes must be ticked.

Then see Mass Confiramtion subscreen

Execute Milestone Function check box must be ticked.

I think by doing this setting in spro you can trigger Milestone automatically.

but here i m attaching mile stone to WBS elements not to activty.

Also sceduling is not being carried out for WBS.

In that case what to do ?

manual entry is the only option & it has to be like that only.

if you have bigger number of milestones to be confirmed ,then go for program

If you have bigger number of milestones ,use CN53 for mass milestone overview for faster confirmation

otherewise u can go for program
