there is a message no MM081 which is related to MATERIAL MASTER .
i want to create it as error message but i cannot perform it ply help me

Hi,
Go to T-Code OMT4 and then select Application area as MM & No. as 081. There you can change the required message to Error Message by putting message Category as E.

in OMT4 i am not able to put new entry.as it is showing dsabled.
as soon as this is open i can put my message no"MM081"
SOLVED BY SM30 table "V_160M" entered that message

Check it in OMCQ and convert it from warning(W) to error(E).

The menu path is Logistics - General >> Material Master >> Basic Settings >>Define Attributes of System Messages
Here u can give your messgae as Error messge by select 'E'.
