unpack handling unit

Dear Friends,

I am not able to unpack handling units from shipment as the system is throwing a message

"no handling units that could be changed were selected".(Message no. HUDIALOG170)

In the pack material tab, in the handling unit line, the font is changed to blue colour.

What is the signifcance, the handling unit line item is changed to blue colour.

Hi Sampath,

Check the status of the handling unit you are trying to unpack. Remember that you can unpack an HU only if it has status "In stock" or "in warehouse". If the HU has any other status e.g. at customer or so on, then you cannot unpack for logical reasons.

Thanks for your reply.

But we are not able to view the status of the handling units. When we try to view the details of handling unit we get a message "No status object is available for HU"

Hi Sampath,

This could be a bug. Could you check if SAP Notes below are implemented in your system?

694696 - BS001 No status object is available for HU &

614179 - No status object is available for HU &

In any case, there are a few SAP Notes which need to be implemented for this error. You can find them by putting this text "No status object is available for HU".
