Lean WM and RF

Is it possible to use RF with Lean WM? What things should I consider in order to do that?

Hello,

When you implement the Warehouse Management System (WMS), you manage goods movements and stock changes in the warehouse at storage bin level. However, if you implement Lean WM, inventory management takes place solely at storage location level. The system does not update the stock data at storage bin level using the quants.

Mostly RF is used when you manage the stock storage bin level.

But my customer does not like complete WM, he wants an IM storage location but he wants to use RF for picking with HU, is it possible to use LEAN and RF?

Hi,

Yes it is possible to use RF with lean WM considering that you are using HU management.

Here you will scan HU's for warehouse activities.Stocks will be managed at storage location level.
