Reg : Log Back up

Dear Friends,

1.Today morning i took Log Back up. But i show error msg is FINISHED WITH ERROR this type of error.

DB - MS SQL Server 2005

OS - Windows 2003 Server

SAP - ECC 6.0 SR2

What can i do? How can i rectify this problem.

2. Yesterday i scheduled Full Database backup. It is also got error msg same Finished with error.

In SQL server you can't take a log backup unless you have full backup

So try doing full backup first,take the backup of all the 4 databases and then run the log backup,also schedule a offline backup that will be better

Also let us know the errors that you get if any while running the full backup

Hi Rohit,

My Schedule of Full Db is yesterday 23.00 PM in 11.05.2009(Night)

but LOG BAck UP is today 9.00 AM in 12.05.2009(Now Day time).

Then how can i know SAPROUTER will started? pls tell me rohit.

from where does this comes into picture,what system backup are you taking???

please clear

what I am saying is take a full DB backup of your SAP system which includes all the 4 database backup i.e master,model.Temp DB and SAP

Include Model database backup also

and please tell the error logs?what do they say and what about SAP router that you were talking

I think it will be better if you post the logs

Dear Rohith,

I am first started SAP router and show this msges. So i don't know wheather SAP router started or not?

When i started SAP router that messages saw in the dos prompt screen. this below msg what is this?

but how is SAP router related to your backup

but whatever the logs that you show it indicates that SAP router has started

Dear Rohith,

It is not related Backup. This is another issue rohith. i check SM59 RFC Connections to OSS notes but SNC processing failed. what can i do?
