Pre-requisite for implementation of service desk


Could anyone help me by giving the prerequiste for implementing service desk.

for satellite system. i have solman sps 17

satellite system are of diff modules (PI 7.0, EP 2004s, FICO, CRM 5.0, R/3 4.7, ...etc).

Hi Shyam,

1. Solution Manager and Satelitte System should have latest ST-PI and ST-A/PI software components.

Run this program RTCCTOOL on both systems to identify the missing software components.

2. Service Desk Checklist is available at:

SPRO->SAP Solution Manager->Configuration->Scenario-Specific Settings

->Service Desk->Information and Configuration Pre-Requisites

To configure Service Desk:

Follow these SAP tutors(step by step details are given)

Once you login rkt-solman, then select Solution Manager 7.0 -> Support Organizations / Service Providers->Service DesK
