Help: MATMAS Idoc crash

HI all

Im sending a matmas idoc with an ERSA material type but the idoc crash in ecc due to mandatory field in ECC MARA-GEWEI. The thing is that this field has been configured as optional.

I just checked this link but anybody response.

Any idea?

We are using MDM 5.5 SP06 Patch 4, SAP ECC 6.0 (SAP_APPL release 603 level 002 support package SAPKH60302)

Hi Josh,

there is nothing to do at MDM side the problem at SAP side.

as you said it's an optional fields but problem will occur while posting IDOC to SAP.

As SAP use standered function module and some time this funcational module may require apply SAP notes with the help of Technical consultant and also check configuration setting or enhancement done by funcational consultant

so i would suggest just verify this funcational module with help of technical consultant and apply SAP Notes

Hi Josh

You can also pass 1 or 0 as dummy values in the PI mapping to avoid this error.

Hi,

Are you triggering any assignments to make the attribute weight unit, Net weight to default value in the workflow?

Could you please elaborate it will be helpful to fix the issue
