Tank Movement

Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a specific movement type for transferring materials between tanks (using Silo Management).

There are no specific movement types used for tank to tank transfer (Silo management).

For goods receipts and goods issues into or out of tank storage locations, the system automatically checks whether the material segment entered in the material document is assigned to the tank:

1. If the system finds an assignment, the tank number for that assignment is saved with the material document of the goods movement.

2. If the system does not find an assignment, the material document of the goods movement can then not be saved. At "pure" tank storage locations, only stocks can be posted, which are assigned to a tank of that storage location.

Hi, thanks for the reply,

I still have some doubts about it:

1) During GR for Production Order, is it possible to select the tank, istead of storage location for receipt?

2) Is it possible to assign the same material code into 2 differents OA under the same storage location?
