Inspection method deletion

I am able to view Inspection Method in QS34 which I wish to delete, but whenI am trying to delete it i QS35 I am unable to view the Method from the dropdown list and unable to delete it & I get the following Error message. Pleae guide.....

Diagnosis

You want to edit inspection method 1, plant KKPL, key date .

System Response

The system cannot select a validity period for the selection criteria you entered, since:

The inspection method has not been created or

You do not have authorization to process the inspection method or

The inspection method is/was being used and cannot therefore be deleted.

error message is very clear.

It looks the condition 3 in the error message *'The inspection method is/was being used and cannot therefore be deleted"*

If it so first you delete the assignment of Inspection method for all the MICs.Then you dlete the method.

It will solve your problem.

How do I kow that this inspection method is assigned to so & so MICC s, any Txn for that existing?, There are so many MICCs , i could view them in QS21 but how do I find the particular Insp Method.?

Hi,

Beacuse this inspection method is already used, so you cannot delete it.
