Hello Guru's
An issue with the SAP Gateway which was running but not working correctly
For that reason no RFC or any other outgoing connection was working
Once we tried to restart the gateway the server, it crashed
Please let me know what are the corrective action, and from where I can found the appropriate logs for the same.
Please suggest the rectification or refer SAP Notes to resolve the issue
Thanks & Regards
Shishir

Hi Shishir,
Have you resolved this issue.I am facing the similar issue like you
***ERROR: Size of shared memory pool 10 too small
================================================================
SOLUTIONS: (1) Locate shared memory segments outside of pool 10
with parameters like: ipc/shm_psize_<key> =0
SOLUTION: Increase size of shared memory pool 10
with parameter: ipc/shm_psize_10 =56000000
***ERROR: Size of shared memory pool 40 too small
================================================================
SOLUTIONS: (1) Locate shared memory segments outside of pool 40
with parameters like: ipc/shm_psize_<key> =0
SOLUTION: Increase size of shared memory pool 40
with parameter: ipc/shm_psize_40 =62000000
Please help !

Hello,
also include the output of
sappfpar pf=<profile of the affected instance> check
which is usually very helpful in case of problems related to the memory configuration.
Best Regards,
Michael

Hi
Looks like the setting for ipc/shm_psize_10 is too small, try to increase it from 19'880'000 to 198'800'000. You can set it in RZ10.
Then stop your SAP system and do a cleanipc <instnr> remove, where instnr is your instance number (most likely 00). Then restart SAP.
Check sap note [212902 - Calculated shared memory pool is too small|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/212902] and search for rspfpar for more details.
Best regards, Michael
Edit: btw, the oracle forum is not the right place for this question, as it is not a database related issue. You should better have chosen one of these:
