Movement of stocks from plant to warehouse

let me know how to move finished goods from plant to ware house

Hi Mohan,

You can not directly transfer anything froom Plant to warehouse. its a 2 step process

For this use transaction MB1B, movement type 311.

There are storage locations, which have and which don't have warehoouse systems.

There are two bookings generated in this case:

1. Moving material from storage location1 to storage location2 (MM movement)

2. Moving material from the interiem storages of WH2 into the bins of WH2 (WM movement)

Hi

In IMG enterprise structure assignment the combination of plant and storage location is assigned to a warehouse

If the warehouse management is active in your system then

Whenever you post stocks to a plant that will be managed under the warehouse to which the plant is assigned

No separate movement is happening or movement is is reqd for that
