SBO 2007 on Windows Server 2008 64 bit

Former Member

Good day all

I got confirmation from our SAP office telephonically that this is now supported. Is this true and can someone please post some info. I don't have a s-user, so will appreciate it if you don't post links, but rather the contents of the link. Can someone also paste here the info on this page please: http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/platforms

I have the following questions:

1. Is SBO supported with Windows Server 2008 64-bit

2. Is terminal services working 100% with SBO on this version of Windows?

3. Can we still stay with SQL 2005 or is it better to move over to SQL 2008?

4. Which version of SBO should we use? We're currently on 2007A SP00 PL35

Thanks in advance,

Adele

Thanks for the reply. Any chance you can get it in a better format. That doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Thanks Steffen!

Seems like I can't post an e-mail address in here. Can you maybe check for my e-mail address on my profile and mail it there please?

Thanks Steffen, that document is great and I've been looking for something like that for months.

Anyone that can answer my other questions? I see on the sheet Steffen mailed me (SAP Business One System Requirements, Version 3.0, May 2009) it says under Windows Server 2003 "including Windows Terminal Services". It does not state this anywhere else. Does that mean that Windows Terminal Services aren't supported with Windows Server 2008?

Would appreciate answers on all my questions.

Thanks,

Adele

Afaik, B1 in RDP Session is not supported by B1. It runs fine, but SAP does not support if you have any trouble. If you need support you should install Citrix.
