Hi rithvika,

I have maintained according to the note you have suggested me SAP Note 951955.

I have tested in the following manner in the Dev client,

Posted the stock on 25.04.09 for 2 nos

Maintained the table R_2rg1bal and enter the value in exgpr,datum(01.05.09),matnr,form(P), OP CF (2),OP Finish (2),USNAM,CPUDT(01.05.09) & CPUTM.

I have done the goods issue on todays date i.e 14.050.09. now when i update the rg1 register using classification IDH at the time of simukate it give me a red indicator. Any suggestions plz.

hi

you can check this SAP Note 951955 - CIN: General clarifications for RG1 goods

in table J_2IRG1BAL for all RG1 material.

EXGRP: Excise group of the material

DATUM: Date from which you want RG1 report i.e. 01.01.2004

MATNR: Material

FORM: P for packed, L for loose. note that the same material cannot be

maintained as both packed and loose.

WERKS: Leave it blank

Maintain all relevant opening balance fields. These fields start with

OP

Enter the username in USNAM and CPUDT (current date).

Hi Anil,

You have to first update table (j_2irg1bal) in Tcode SE16 with value equal to the quantity of stock of finished product available in live system. Thenafter there is no need of posting any initial stock. You can directly do PGI and you will see the stock reduced from this initial stock.
