Web Services in Sap R/3 4.6c

Hi!

Can I provide a Web Service directly form Sap R/3 4.6c? Or do I have to migrate to another version of SAP?

Hi,

The first SAP ERP release able to publish web services (SOA, not web application) is R/3 4.7 and this first implementation is fairly basic.

For R/3 4.6c you will need an external web service provider which will convert the SOAP call in an RFC call. In the past, we have successfully developped .NET programs (using SAP .NET connector) for this usage.
