If any basis people are there can you please respond to the below question?

Do we need any additional drivers to be deployed for the use of any 3rd party Adapters, if any?

We are trying to install PI 7.1.

No drivers required. Just the deployables of the respective adapter is required.

Hi,

In XI/PI we don't have any specific drivers for thrid party communication. Depending on requirement we will choose and install. For example for EDI requirement we will install Seeburger Adapter.

Third Party driver requirement is completely depends on client requirement.

SEEBURGER adapters do not rely on any drivers - besides DB drivers (if for example prof message tracking is installed on an external DB). You do not need jms drivers or similar for the EDI adapter - but of course, if your EDI scenario relies on JMS adapter, it may still be required.

It depends on the 3rd party adapter you are using.

Please refer the documentation (installation guide) of the 3rd party adapter. It is provided by the vendor when you buy the adapter.
