Hi,

I am using strategy 10. I am giving the monthly plan for consecutive 12 months from now on. If I run MRP, system is planning and throwing the requirements for all the 12 months.

Is it possible to have only first 3 months requirement planned by system and keep rest of the requirements are unplanned / hidden?

Pls check how many days are defined as planning horizon in Trx OMDX.

Is it more than 100 days?

It is only 100 days. Even then it is planning for all the moths.

Pls chk the same thing if you are maintaing a mrp group for material in the same Trx.

Hi,

Planning horizon is Used when you use the Processing Key - NETPL in MD02.

If the processing key is NETCH, the Planning horizon will not have any impact on the Planning..

So, change your Processing Key to NETPL and Planing Mode - 3 in MD02/MD01..

While running MRP - MD02, Pls select Processing key NETPL under MRP control parameters.

Hi,

I have checked. There was nothing against the MRP Group(0031) I have assigned in OMDX. I have provide 100 against that. Even after that it is planning for all months.

That is a MPS item. Will it not effect for the MPS run? Will it work only for MRP?

You can Run MPS With processing key NETPL.

My requirement is just opposite of the above question.

i.e: Is it possible to have first 3 months planned order for header material and 12 months pur req proposal for the ROH material (bought outs which is imported)?
