Hi Exports:
i have a project developed with pi , the solution is Sqlserver ->pi->R/3, but customer have a requirement , if pi can not delivery the message to r/3 on time, the message must delivery to the customer's mail, does pi can do this function, if it's possible , how to do?

For this kind of Requirements i think PI Provides "Alerts " .
we use Alert, in order to inform the System to take proper action in case if any Error occurs during Message Processing . we are creating this Errros inside the RWB using the Tcode ALRTCATDEF

You use the alert configuration to have the system inform you of errors during message processing. You can receive the alert by e-mail, fax, or SMS.

you can raise an alert based and sned a mail to client.
