Hi Experts,
Do i know wt is the difference B/W general item ctegory group in material master basic data 1 and item category group in sale org 2.?
How it is effecting in sales proces if we maintain differnt item category group in MM ? or any other impacts in sale processing?

Hi,
If sales item category group is empty the general item category group is taken into account during item category determination in sales document. Sales item category group can be different from general item category group and in this case the sales item category group will be used in sales processes (mainly item category determination).

Normally we know sale item category is a mandatory field which u cant maintain as without data.
