Hi folks ,

when i monitor sap server , it shows swap error ...

Hi,

Buffer tuning is to be done based on the good analysis. You should not think about buffer tuning if you see some swaps any day. These swaps may be due to temporary stage of the system and may not happen next day.

So if you are planning to tune your SAP buffer, please monitor ST02 for some days and than decide the values based on your good observation.

No body can tell you the exact values. SAP Buffer tuning is always done on Hit and trial Method.

So first monitor your system for couple of weeks and than decide the values by which you want to modify the buffer.
