You are asking "Excise tax indicator for customer" to be defaulted. It is used for clasification of customer. I don't think we need it to make as mandatory. Seek ABaper's Help. Because it is used to determine final indicator for exciose duty.
Not possible. What perhaps you can do is set the excise indicator in J1ID so you do not have to maintian it in the customer master.
This is master data and you need to fill in what is applicable for a customer. When you create a customer try creating with reference. This may solve your problem.
