Hi,
We are using SCM 5.0. for demand planning. Some of our planners are requesting for a change log. Is there any option to have change log in the planning book even by using a BADI or user exit etc.
Thanks in advance,
Srini
Hi Srini,
There could be several third party developments to meet this criteria. But as Subash commented, SCM Accelerators has a robust solution tested by several customers already. I have personally participated in this development, so in case you are interested on it, please let me know at ahernandez@scmaccelerators.com

As Laurent commented, this in the BAdI where you can address it, but the complex scenarios with specific selections (as most customers use) are not easily handled and may end up in misleading of information.

Hi,
You should have a look to Badi /SAPAPO/TS_DM_SET
To implement the method BEFORE_SAVE is easy.
Hope this helps.

Hi Srini,
There is no SAP delivered exit or badi to change demand planning logs. You can try building this via own customisation using transaction output of /SAPAPO/MC8K under programme /SAPAPO/TS_BATCH_LOGFILE and/or also in transactionn /SCMB/SCHED_DEL.

Never heard of such a thing.
Anything is possible with a BADI or User Exit, it comes at a cost, what would be the benefit?
Create security so that people have access to their data, make them responsible for it.
