Hi All,
is there a way to block a tcode or ztcode only in foreground and allow it to run in background ?
i have tcode which gives me a big report, takes lot of db time.
Any help?
Thanx in advance,
Robert.
Hello,
You can lock the t.code from transaction code SM01. Unlock is alo been done from sm01. You can not run any t.code in background. But if you know which program the t.code is calling, you can schedule that program to run in background.

Hi,
I wont think so that SAP provide such facility :).
But yes you can anytime introduce such restriction with the help of modification of Code.
Ask your ABAPer to introduce such restriction in the both kind of Tcode in such a way that whenever someone wants to execute this, the Tcode should give a message that "Only Background mode is possible".

Saurabh
