while opening a query

I am getting this error.

The component was edited with more recent version of editor. You also have to use the more recent version to edit further. Further processing not possible. Update your front end.

How do i solve this?

Also when i execute the same query i get folling error.

An exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER occured, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in the Raising.

Has anyone gaced similar problem. Help to find the solution.

i have faced this problem some time back. please ask for the latest patch to update the GUI.

Hello Varun

This happens when you don't have the latest patch level installed including the latest GUI.

if the system has different pathes where the query was created and if your local GUI differs from these, then such errors arise.

get them installed from your basis team for enabling you to work with the queries created with a different patch level.
