Hi Folks ,

while installating SAP ECC6.0 , i will ask Solution Manager Key , where shall i get solution manager key ..... i have all ECC6.0 and DB2 software resource and where can get DB2 Licence ....

Use Solution manager to generate the Key. If you dont have Solution manager then raise a message to SAP and provide them all the information and they will send you the key.

Please go through the SAP note "SAP Note 816773 - DB6 Installing an SAP OEM license.pdf" for DB2 License.

This will help you with step by step process to get the DB2 License.

Hi Satish,

You have to install the Sol. Manager and execute Tcode SMSY, Fill in all the details such as target system name, SAP Version, Database. The SMSY will generated the Installation Key for you.

If you do't have Sol. Man then you can ask it from SAP Support or any of your friend can generate it for you.
