Crystal report closes

Hi,

I am new to crystal reports. When ever I open database expert, immediately whole crystal report closes. It occurs in both cases: whenever I create a new report and also when I click on database expert while modilfying the existing report. What is the reason behind it. How can I rectify that.

Inform this problem to your system admin, try reinstalling the program, use administrative priveliges and try the same

Hi.

Do you use CR 2008 designer? If so, if you use more than 1 date parameter, CR does not allow to change the query. It crashes. We are working with CR technical support but dint find anythign so far. There is one way to surpass this rpoblem. If you change the data type of date parameters to string and then change the query, it allows. at the end of change, you can reset the date type.
