installation error

Hello everybody,

I have been trying to install SAP (for development sever)

i perform the following steps

1. install OS (Windows 2003 Enterprise edition with SP1)

2. Adjust the Page File as per requirement.

3. Install IIS for SQL server Installation

4. Install SQL server 2005 with SP2

when i start the installation, the i got the following error

Errro 5. (Access is denied) in execution of a RegopenkeyEx function. line(69) with parameter ' system\currentcontrolset\services\djdbob)

The subkey 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYTEM\currentcontrolset\services\djdbob\ does not exist on the 'localhost' host.

Please suggest me how to solve this problem.

Only Add the user Administrator to this registry.

Hi,

U can install Application server. Not only IIS. Application servers also contains with IIS.

Possible reason -

1. Antivirus or firewall is enabled.

2. User from you are installing does not have the Administrator privilege

3. You have not maintain the IP address and hostname into host file

Hi,

It is error related to registry and user may not have permission to install.

Is it local or domain installation
