Group discount based on product brand

Hi Gurus,

Please help me on the following.

What is the business case?

Fix discount $100 needs to be issued for the first 50 units that a customer orders on a product group.

What is implemented?

Created a group discount condition for fix amount and maintained condition records based on the product group. As the discount can be spread across dfferent line items, a formula for condition base value is assigned in the pricing procedure against the condition type.

Example: Item1 - Qty 40 units - discount issued - $100 * 40

Item2 - Qty 50 units - discount issued - $100 * 10

Item3 - Qty 20 units - discount issued - No discount condition is copied based on a pricing requiremnt assigned.

All the items above belong to the sames product group that is eligible for discount

What is the issue?

1. When the qty for Item1 is changed to 20 units, the formua assigned is automatically changing the discount to $100 * 20. However, the discount is not applied automatically for Item2 to increase to $100 * 30.

2. Similaly, if the quantities are reduced to Item 1 and 2 to 20 units, the discounts are applied correctly for these two items. However, discount condition is not added to Item3 ?

It seems, there is no automatic update of discounts on the lower items when the quantity is updated for Item1.

Any experts on the board, please advise.
